What link should I use for the WhatsApp social icon?
WhatsApp supports "click to chat" links. Use this format:

https://wa.me/<number>

Replace <number> with your full phone number in international format, with no zeroes, brackets, dashes, or spaces.

  • Use: https://wa.me/15551234567

  • Don't use: https://wa.me/+001-(555)1234567

Note: the phone number must have an active WhatsApp account.

Can I include a pre-filled message?
Yes:

  • With your number: https://wa.me/15551234567?text=I%27m%20interested%20in%20your%20listing

  • Without a number, letting the recipient choose who to send it to: https://wa.me/?text=I%27m%20interested%20in%20your%20listing
