Why does it say my text is too long when saving my signature?

If your email client gives a "text too long" error when saving your signature, try reducing social icons, shortening your disclaimer, or switching to the basic theme.

Why does it say my text is too long when saving my signature?
Some email clients limit how much text or code a signature can contain. If your signature includes a lot of social icons, a long disclaimer, or extra elements, you may hit that limit when saving.

How do I fix it?
Try these, in order:

  1. Reduce the number of social icons you're using

  2. Shorten or remove your disclaimer

  3. Switch to the Basic theme, which uses less code than other styles

  4. Remove any other information that isn't essential
